Headed to Lexington for April! How about another day in the beeyard during the honey flow? 

April will be at Kathy Carpineto's beeyard (Carolina Buzzed Bee Company).

Mark Hardenbrook will present on bee development (bee development stages). After presentation you will be able to test your skills in the beeyard and identify br ood, queen, drones, and watch the foragers bringing in nectar and pollen. If you are lucky you may see a queen cell and a split. Please bring protective gear as the bee yard will be very active and we must remember and practice safety in the beeyard! Please bring a chair and drinks since it could be warm outside.
