Topic:  Splits  

Are you in a situation where you want to make honey or bees this year?  

For April will are going to have a hands in the hive meeting.  Bring your bee suit, water and chair (if needed).  We are going to meet at Sonny Hardee's farm in Gilbert.  We will demonstrate how to do a split, what to look for and how to make it successful.  Manage swarms by making a split.  If you have multiple boxes, you can make a split to create multiple hives.
