Join us for a special event with Richenda Batson, a Lexington County Master Gardener Volunteer, as she speaks to the Lexington County Bee Association (LCBA) about how to Garden Like a Master!
Richenda Batson is a Lexington County Master Gardener Volunteer, class of 2019. She loves to dig in the dirt. She has been a backyard gardener for the past 25 years. Her love of gardening began when she was a child visiting her grandfather's garden in England. Richenda is also a volunteer with the Environmental Educators of South Carolina and a Green Steps Mentor. When she isn’t volunteering or digging she works for the Venues at Arsenal Hill at South Carolina Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Richenda likes to grow herbs, perennial natives and vegetables. She also is an avid composter, recycler, has 2 flocks of chickens,
1 cat, 1 poodle and 3 children. She has kept European Bees in…
