At Shoemaker Acres Farm we are a small mom and pop farm. Our main focus is being good Stewards of the land God entrusted to our care. We work tirelessly to improve the soil by adding biomass in the form of compost and cover crops to maintain a natural “balance”  in order to ensure soil biodiversity to maximize the quality of everything we raise and grow. We use all natural methods on our farm to sustain our soil nutrients and to provide ourselves with top quality produce and protect ourselves, our livestock and our bees. It has taken a long time to bring back our ecosystem to its current state. We grow 90% of the food we eat. We seek out and grow heirloom seeds that are indigenous to our area of South Carolina (Midlands).
